Today would (should) have been our 35th wedding anniversary.  :(

"Grief can destroy you -- or focus you. You can decide a relationship was all for nothing if it had to end in death, and you alone. OR you can realize that every moment of it had more meaning than you dared to recognize at the time, so much meaning it scared you, so you just lived, just took for granted the love and laughter of each day, and didn't allow yourself to consider the sacredness of it."

I got married June 14, 1980.
Why did the time go by so fast? It seems like yesterday I was walking down the aisle. I look at our wedding pictures and it's hard to imagine that's it's over. My parents are even gone now.
At our wedding, I read one of the readings. So at his funeral, I read one again. The beginning and the end.

Peace to you Barney,
~Catnip
You left and forgot to tell my heart how to live without you.

Hugs to you Bear. Time sure does fly by.
I don't want it to be his legacy that his death destroyed me.
I need to honour his life by rebuilding my life.
