Haven't slept well the past few nights so hopefully and nice hot tub and sleep. Before that I'll do up the dishes too. Saturday nights certainly aren't what they used to be.
Just watching "Shall We Dance?".  Oh would I love to be doing that instead!!

I've been glued to Hurricane Central and the Weather Channel all night. I'm from the lower Keys and most of my friends still live there. Most evacuated but many didn't. I still consider it my home. I'm so overwhelmed.

Omg, just finished watching the Nintendo World Championships and now back to watching Empire Strikes Back. Various SW movies have been on all day and I've been tuning in and out all day.

Also about to kill my naughty cat who just peed on the couch. He's mad about something but I'm not pleased with him!

Late night dinner of cleaning out the freezer too! Fun widow times here!

Bought donuts and brought them over to my sisters to give to my young nephew and nieces right before dinner time. Then I headed back home for bacon and artichoke pizza while watching an episode of Venture Bros with my son. The evening finished up with several hours of video games in my study.

A chilly fall evening here. Made some polish food for dinner, have my pj's on, doing some prep for beef stew that I'll make tomorrow, and then will settle in to watch tonight's Hallmark movie.  Good thing I've got a DVR because I can't keep up with TWO new Hallmark movies each weekend!!

Cold rainy dark night here.  Getting a tub and pj's on to hunker down and watch some chick flicks.  I hope all our American wids had a good Thanksgiving day and get a restful weekend.

Its been a long lonely three weeks for me since I resigned from my job, ending my 20 some year career but we had tickets to go listen to the Sun Ra Arkestra and Kamasi Washington last night in Philadelphia.  Its one of the first times I've left the house in nearly a month.  We had a drink with some friends in the city and went to the show.  And it was so, so good.  Dancing and just unbelievable genius sound.  I needed that.  On to the job search tomorrow....

Sitting here in jammies waiting for my daughter to put down her phone and watch tv with me, only to find out she's watching Netflix without me.  What's with teenagers these days that they'll sit in the room with the 50 inch tv but still watch on a 4 inch phone?! I would have died for even a 30 inch t.v. growing up.....

Went to the family Christmas party with at my father-in-laws. Second Christmas without her, but the first one really didn't count as we were still in shock. Stayed for a few hours, it was good that I went but everyone was very subdued. Left early and spent an extra hour on the stationary bike exercising away my feelings. Considering just calling it a night now and going to bed early.
