Title: The Widda Bistro and Bar & Grill is open for business!!
Post by: mokie on March 30, 2015, 03:09:23 PM
I had a couple of requests to re-open the "Bistro".  For those who weren't around, this was a fun thread we kept going... Oh, back around 2008-2011 maybe.  Virtual Bistro, coffee, treats, pretty umbrella drinks, everyone's favorite food served.  The fire is always going, the weather is always perfect, and all problems can be left at the door.

So anyone who's interested, we're back open for business.  Who want's to pull up the first barstool?  I have to admit, I'm no good at mixing drinks, so I can serve you anything that comes straight out of a bottle or can... Otherwise, feel free to hop the bar and start mixing.  I'm enjoying a glass of wine right now... My feet are propped up by the fire, and I've brought my kitty Bo along if anyone needs some snuggling.  Be careful though... Bo is a master at knocking things off any table, so keep ahold of your drinks!!

Hi, Mokie!

Rosie and I are coming in!  Is Budger around?  We need more animals.  I'll stick to water with lime right now...I have to get a paper written this evening.  And Bo better not knock my water over on my keyboard as I'm typing!

Hi Guys!
Well, I will bring by Rua, aka Boo-boos-my red point Siamese- he is ten today, so would like some smoked salmon, please. Louie is my rescue dog, but he likes girls, and is kept in line by Boo-boos. I would love a cappuccino with brown sugar, whole milk-thanks!

Okay, all orders are coming up... And all fur-babies are welcome!

Okay, so Maureen is writing a paper.  She can have the table over there in the corner to work, so we still get the pleasure of her company.  What is everyone else up to today?  The Bachelor and I have been doing some spring cleaning, and listing for sale some things we've just had taking up room in the closets or attic.  He's ahead of me right now with one sale at $25.

We should probably check in some of the bistro closets... Who knows what we have stuffed in there???

Well, I am back- poor Boo-boos puked into Mike's old shoes. I was really happy for a moment that I could finally throw away his "slippers" but he hosed them out. It doesn't seem to bother the man that the homeless were better shoed until I took him in hand. He can't let these go though. I am going through more "stuff" to donate- how are you guys selling stuff? craigslist?

Right now we're using a local Buy Sell and Trade site that has a facebook page.  If things don't sell there, some will go on Craigslist or Ebay, but we're trying to avoid the hassle of postage.

I'll take one of whatever is on special, please.  As part of my efforts toward the minimalist challenge, I sold DH's 35mm camera today.   I had no interest in "real" photography (I just point and click the cellphone  when needed, lol), so it seems kinda silly after all these 5+ years that I felt a little pang when I handed it over to the buyer this afternoon.  (a very appreciative college Photography student)   Crazy how these moments hit when you least expect it.  Sigh!

Do you like fruity little umbrella drinks?  I can probably mix up something pretty... Not sure how it will taste.  We have lots of umbrellas though.   ;D

Yeah, getting rid of that stuff that we don't really need, but have emotional attachments to, is really hard... No matter how much we tell ourselves it shouldn't matter.

Yes to umbrella drinks, yes to amaretto sours, yes to moscato, yes to a nice Reisling, and hell yes to a 7 and 7!!

Will someone call me a can at the end of my visit?!

I'll take an umbrella to add to the glass of Gavi wine I just poured, unless someone can bring me a vodka and tonic.

And Baylee....you're a can!  :)

Damn, I meant: call me a cab!!

Lol.

But thanks for obliging my odd request to be called a can. And after imbibing, I probably won't give two shits what I'm called.

Or even remember.

Dang... someone took my punch line!!  Oh well, tell ya what... Y'all just hop behind the bar and help yourself.  Umbrellas are on the house.  Anyone want me to change the channel off of Dancing with the Stars?  I like to imagine I could dance all of the "stars" off the floor.  Although I'd like to do a body-swap with Rumer Willis.   :-\

Scott collected fezzes (think Shriners), some of which are fabulously festooned with sequins.  Talk about a niche hobby.

I will plan to bring those in case anyone is so moved and all of my grading - everyone in the Bistro has to grade at least one test or "essay"!  Drinking while grading is, of course, highly encouraged.

Oh, I'm an old pro at grading.  Having given up my red pen (actually, I preferred green... didn't seem so harsh) a few years ago, I may be a little out of practice, but with another glass of wine, and a sequined Shriners cap, I can probably jump right back on that horse.

Is that an open mike in the corner?  My other musical outlet has dried up kind of a lot at the moment.

For a drink, I could go for a good tequila sunrise - I regret I bought the cheap orange liqueur last time.

Take care,
Rob T

Ooh, a Mojito I can do... AND a tequila sunrise, with the good stuff.  Then I'm going to have to turn in my green pen and start again tomorrow.  I'm fading fast.  It was hard work getting the Bistro to look acceptable again.  Just don't look under that stack of blankets in the corner.

Someone take over the drink slinging for me till tomorrow.

Oh, can I keep my sequined Shriner hat?  I've become attached to it. ;D

And yes Rob, you can entertain the rest of the wids here at the mike.  Sing away!  Do you take requests?

Later gators!!  Last one out, turn out the lights.

I think a full half of my 2200+ posts at YWBB came from the good ole Bistro! *glances around* The place is looking good! Hey, wait. It's just missing something.

*rustles around in the closet*

HA!

*hangs the disco ball*

Perfect.

I think I'll go whip up a mudslide and join Moke by the fire.

Marian!  How can it be?  I thought Scott was the only one to collect such things......(warning: if you are susceptible to the fez, do not visit shopgoodwill.com)  I've got a good half dozen fezzes, several sweet, shiny vintage smoking jackets (for the men), a ventriloquist dummy from the 70s, and a boat load of vintage cocktail dresses.  I think we're set to grade in style!

Well besides all the glitter and sequins on the floor (which add a very nice sparkle to the Bistro) and the wads of paper thrown in the corner, things look pretty good in here this morning.  How late did everyone stay grading papers?  Sorry I wimped out early.  Shouldn't have had that last glass of wine.

I'm not much on fixing lovely breakfast things, but I could whip up a mean bunch of scrambled eggs and bacon.  And how about some grits to go along with that?  Coffee is perking, and there's juice in the fridge.

Hey, those of you outside lurking... I see you peeking in the windows.  C'mon in!  Pull up a barstool and sit a spell.

Oh, and the disco ball is a nice touch, kmouse.  Thanks for finding that!

That sounds great!  I'll have one... or two... of those pancakes.

I'll be in and out.  We're doing spring cleaning/purging around our place this week.  Gotta go spelunking in the attic for another box to bring down and go through.  Let's see what interesting "treasures" this one brings.  So far we have a whole lot in the "give to kids/donate/garage sale/burn barrel" piles, and not a lot in the "keep" pile.  Why have we been saving all this stuff????

I am proudly old enough to remember George Carlin and his thing about "stuff"- why do we ned this stuff? I loved his line about it gets to the point even our "stuff" has "stuff". That's where I am still at- even after moving 350 miles away. Lord. I will take strong coffee, french press please- I am such a snob- and a few pancakes for fuel!

Back in the bistro with fifty essays to grade.  Take your pick, "Elgin Marbles: Should Britain Return them to Greece?" or "How to Read a Roman Portrait."  Plenty to go around!  I even brought a box of sparkly markers to enhance your pleasure in confronting my students' grammar.  And because clearly, the sparklier the better in the Bistro.

I have also brought four boxes of Thin Mints, which I just learned went vegan this year (which means you can eat more of them, vegan or not).
Title: Re: The Widda Bistro and Bar & Grill is open for business!!
Post by: mokie on March 31, 2015, 10:50:04 AM
Ooh, hand me a sparkly marker, and I'll grade the papers for grammar... Someone else can handle the content part.  And I'll have a thin mint.  Oh who am I kidding??  No one can eat just one thin mint.  Hand me a whole sleeve.

I just finished going through a giant plastic tub from the attic that was labeled "living room stuff".  I thought this was from the most recent move in 2011.  Nope... from the contents, this was from the move shortly after S died, when I sold our house.  Holy cow!  You'd think there wouldn't be anything in there that I'd want, since I haven't missed it in 7-1/2 years.  But there's the wooden bowl that one of the custodians hand-crafted for me after S died... The custodian that drove S absolutely bonkers with the endless complaints he had.  And the personalized quilt that my church family made S and me, when we got married.  And a decorative plate of my old home church.  And an ornament of the old school where I worked, made when the new school was built and the old one closed.  I don't need or really want any of those things anymore, but neither would anyone else.  But how do you just toss those things?

**sigh**  So yeah, grading papers sounds great.  Can I add some Bailey's to my coffee while I'm working?

Stepped out of the Bistro for a while since I wasn't getting much grading done what with the disco ball, the cabana boy and everything being so sparkly in the bright sunshine, to say nothing of the umbrella drinks.  I am pleased to say that I got halfway through the essays and halfway through a pile of freshman essay tests (ick) and tonight I thought I would share another contribution I can make to Bistro life which is my legendary and truly, stunningly shocking karaoke rendition of "Brandy, You're a Fine Girl."  Let me know when you're ready.

The cabana boy IS nice, isn't he?

Ooh, I'm settled in watching my boys Gibbs, Tony, and McGee... Some Karaoke would go well with my evening.

I got back from exercise class a little bit ago... Look up a video of a workout called "Pound".  I swear our instructor is trying to kill us.  You use drumsticks, and it sounded so fun... Until about 20 minutes into it.  I'm gonna need an umbrella drink.

;D  I'm going to assume you mean a drink, Maureen.  Let me know if I misunderstood.  The cabana boy is somewhere nearby.  (did I say that????)

I have some Davy Crockett's cinnamon whiskey that a friend brought me straight from Tennnessee... It's pretty potent.  It's gotten me into trouble more that once (well, not exactly trouble, but our friends' fence may never be the same... Long story).  How 'bout I pour you a shot?  And a treat for Rosie, of course.  Hank and Budger don't mind sharing.

Hey gang!  I've been so busy today... I hate those days.  Exercise class, tax appointment (oh yay...), lunch, bowling, dinner with friends.  I had an amazing ahi tuna with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies that was amazing.  I could try to replicate that here if anyone is interested.

Also still slinging drinks from the bottle or can, or you're welcome to hop behind the bar and mix your own.  Anyone around??

Camped out in the Bistro with an obscenely large glass of wine after what might be the worst day I've ever had at work in my 12 years at this university.  Plenty of wine and whine to go around tonight!

Title: Re: The Widda Bistro and Bar & Grill is open for business!!
Post by: TooSoon on April 02, 2015, 07:42:35 PM
I need 20 refills.  Short version:  we denied someone tenure because he didn't do his job.  He sued us.  The Union, of which I am a dues paying member, represented him.  He won the case, got a huge financial settlement and is coming back to work on Monday and we've been told we have to just do what he says and give him what he wants to prevent another law suit and that we'll have to tenure him in a sham process when he applies again next year.  There are many more prongs to this and a lot more history than I could ever explain but it is the cluster of all clusters.  Feeling like a bit of a chump for being so earnest and being the "sure, I can take care of it" person all of these years and dreading seeing that horrible man's face again on Monday.  This doesn't even begin to do the situation justice.  Fezzes, sparkly things, umbrellas in tropical drinks and disco balls please!

You got it... all of the above.

That sucks.  Unions are great for protecting those who deserve protecting, but sucks when the ones who need to go are saved.  I feel for you.  Here on the farm, if someone isn't doing their job, there's only the Redneck or me to look at.

I'm breaking out the good stuff for you.  And I'll ride that unicycle with the fringy outfit if it'll make you laugh.

I just refilled my wine glass.  TooSoon, I worked at a college as well and saw that kind of thing happen way too often.  Sometimes it seemed that anything short of murder was excused in order to avoid the threat of a lawsuit.

Any chance Johnny Paycheck's "Take This Job and Shove It" is on the jukebox?  ;)

Mokie...are you feeding her Michigan wine?

Haha!!  That was pretty potent stuff, wasn't it?

The funny thing about doing a wine-tasting at a winery... They give you just these **tiny** little sips of each wine.  But then, when you try all 25 of their different wines, in under an hour, it catches up.  Everything in that kitchen gadget store was HILARIOUS after that!! (and somehow, **someone** ended up with a case of wine in her car!!)

 ;D  Good times!

Thanks Mokie, the party must of moved elsewhere but it's fine, over the past 4 years drinking only is acceptable to me ;-)
Whoever does the ordering might want to add tequila to the list... And double last weeks order!
:-)
My kindness is being mistaken for widda weakness by a drama queen, and on top of that somehow I managed to spraining my back last week... Well um maybe I'll switch to that chocolate beer stuff I bought last week. Sounds awful but tasty stuff it sure is!
Title: Re: The Widda Bistro and Bar & Grill is open for business!!
Post by: mokie on April 04, 2015, 03:33:32 PM
I've heard of this chocolate beer... the people who I know that have tried it say it's amazing!  We'll get some of that on order, along with lots of tequila labeled "Sandi".  I'll stick with my very uncool white zin... Unless I decide to get creative and mix some fruity umbrella drinks.

Isn't it awful when someone assumes you're weak, when you're trying to be nice?  I've had that happen too... And it's maddening!  That's when I figure out how that person can disappear from my life... Or at least my sight.

Ignore the mess in the corner.  I've been trying to sort through all the mountains of stuff I've had stored in my attic for ages.  I told myself at one time they were memories, but if I never look at them, then I guess the memories are all in my head... And why do I need them?  So slowly I am whittling stuff down.  But in the meantime, watch out for the piles of junk... They are all going somewhere... Someday!

Thanks Mokie and yes, you have to try the chocolate beer!
A dear friend of mine has apparently stepped in after she heard from the drama queen this afternoon and she was saying negative things about me. (At church no less) Amazing! She also blocked me now on FB because she says I'm monitoring her whereabouts. Yah right, like I care. I wrote her on FB PM to ask her to quit ignoring me and tell me when I can cash the check. Such a super stalker I am, huh! She owed me over $1,000 wrote a check and then sent me a message I can't cash it but she'll let me know when. Yah right! Pretty shady! I've asked Chuck, my DH to handle it. Hoping...

Hoo boy.  What a piece of work.  I wouldn't hold my breath on cashing that check, if I were you.

Hope everyone had a good Easter.  Ours was pretty quiet.  Hey, is that an Easter egg I see hiding in the corner over there?  Did the bunny leave us some goodies we forgot to look for yesterday?

I'm trying to clean up the house for Bunco here later this week.  We've been sorting bins from the attic the last few days, and now it's time to clean up the mess.  Those Bunco ladies will probably look in every nook and cranny!  The dogs could help by not shedding anymore between now and then... And it would be nice if the weather would warm up before Thursday so the Redneck could quit hauling wood in through my kitchen.  Since we got 3 inches of snow this morning, I'm guessing a warm-up is not in the forecast.   :P  Talked to my son today, and he said it's 87 there, and his little boy was playing in puddles from watering the garden.  He has his garden in already!!!  I'm at LEAST a month away from that!

Yep, I'm missing me some Kansas spring weather right now.  87 is about as hot as it got here all summer last year.

Anybody up for some drinks?  I've got my usual wine going.  I'm not ready for any cinnamon whiskey today... One glass of it (along with a few other concoctions) was enough yesterday... But I'll share the cinnamon whiskey, if anyone is interested.

Just arrived in the Bistro with another giant pile of papers to grade; if you're feeling like you need to take it out on someone, I can give you a short stack and a red pen and you can have at it.

There is also a dead mouse on my porch and I simply cannot deal so I thought I'd pop in here because there are no dead mice to contend with in the Bistro, right?    :-\

Hand over the red pen and a small stack of papers... I'll help you out.  And I'll send the cat out to take care of the mouse.

I'm not going to be able to hang here tonight...going out for real with some friends to listen to a science lecture.  John was a scientist and I caught a little bit of the bug from him.  Meanwhile, enjoy a Margarita in my absence!

Hey gang!  I've been out of the loop for a couple of days, getting the house picked up for a 12-person Bunco game here.  We'd made a mess of things, sorting through tubs from the attic, but the Redneck did a good job of helping me get things picked up, and then keeping himself and the dogs out of the house while everyone is here.

What's everyone drinking tonight?  I know Maureen won't be around.  She's off with smart people tonight.   ;D

Ooh, I have leftovers from Bunco that I've brought to the Bistro.  BBQ pulled pork, cole slaw, veggie pizza, chips and salsa, and cupcakes.  Help yourselves!!

Mokie, wow you have been busy! Dang girl this pulled pork is tasty! TY

I'm constantly trying to show these Michigan peeps how to do barbecue.   ;D

Wait till it warms up enough for me to do some baby back ribs!!  (Gawd... Will it EVER warm up here??  I was duped, my first Michigan spring, 4 years ago... Warmed up really nicely, stayed in the 70's in April and May, 80's most of the summer... It was all a trick!).

I'll take one of those margaritas.  Earlier today, I was with some fellow retired coworkers and asked one guy about his wife, who had taken the early retirement at the same time I did a few years ago.  Turns out she died the year after retirement (!) and I had never heard about it.  I was a little taken aback when his response to my "I'm so sorry" was to chuckle and say "Why? It wasn't your fault."  ???     (In my defense, he had been talking about his wife; I assumed it was the one I knew but come to find out, he was already remarried.)  I know we all handle grief differently, but I just found that response a little odd.  Oh, well...

Yeah, that was kind of an odd response... But also sounds like something I'd say if I was in a really sassy mood.   :P  Like when a co-worker commented on my loss of weight about 4 or 5 months after his death, right in front of a group of other co-workers... I just blurted out, "I don't recommend the method."  I felt really bad afterwards, but it was already out.  I'm usually better at filtering my words, to the point of sometimes wishing I HAD blurted out my first thought.

Anyone want to try my Davy Crockett Cinnamon Whiskey, straight from Tennessee?  It'll give you a burn!!

Glass of malbec here...ok, second glass...

Dinner was a Haitian pumpkin soup.  Made it as a request for an oncology patient who's not doing well & his family. The recipe made a ton if you are in the area stop by - tastes good to me (although couldn't tell you if it tastes like it's supposed to)!

Hey ManutesGirl!!  The soup sounds good enough to try... Scoop me up a bowl!  And Mancino, you're right!!  That does sound good.  I usually make my grandmother's warm cider with red hots in it, but the cinnamon whiskey instead of the red hots sounds amazing!!

Actually, it sounds good with the pumpkin soup!  Who's in?

My birthday today...and I went to a Hunger Banquet tonight.  We were given a slip of paper when we arrived with a character on it...that determined what we would get for dinner based on what that person could afford.  I had a scoop of rice with a few beans and water for my birthday dinner.  The "lucky" people got a 4 course meal.  Some others, a couple slices of pizza.  No birthday cake for me today, either.  What can I get for a drink tonight on an empty stomach?

Big birthday hug. Where is the doggie, we can get something for her too, think there are some chewables somewhere here....

Purple Rain.... On my mind all day!  :o
Must play it once so it stops... But will it? Last week another song was stuck but all I could remember was the beat and a "sea monster"! I googled and tried different lyrics, etc.... I finally figured it out and there had nothing to do with sea monsters.
No alcohol was involved, believe it or not!
Next!

Oh goodness... I ALWAYS have a song stuck in my head, every day.  I sometimes think I should post my "song of the day" on facebook.  Maybe that would get rid of it.  Today it's a song the redneck has been practicing to sing in church with his guitar.  It's a fun song, but it's been in my head for days now!!

Usually when a song gets stuck in my head, it runs with about half of the correct words, and my brain inserts other random words in the place of the ones it doesn't know.   ???

Happy Birthday Maureen! Somehow I never saw those above me... Hmmm.... Must've been all the "purple rain". Someone you were with should have given you the 4 course dinner! My gf from back home spent most of the week with me and we ended up eating out a few times. This cute place in Boulder, has me looked up recipes to try that I've never attempted. Anyone know a good recipe for red Snapper? I had a red snapper taco & it was fabulous!
Manico- I'll have to look it up again, something about rivers? I think - I follow rivers. Anyways, I wanted to play purple rain last night and my guy was like do we have to?! He had quite the displeased look on his face... So I'll save it for my car ! lol DH would have not wanted it either!

Maureen that is unacceptable for your birthday. I would have made you hot fudge brownie sundaes with warm chocolate pudding on top. And you could cuddle Mickey. He likes to spread his love around. Disclaimer for others: Mickey is my dog. He has a thing for Maureen.

Tonight I am going to my favorite restaurant with one of my best friends since the third grade. It is within walking distance of my house.  I will not be in need of virtual drinks tonight. But I will be back soon when I do.

Bistro on fellows wids.

Dogs just seem to gravitate to Maureen.  Our dog Budger fell in love with her.  He was very disappointed to learn about Rosie.   ;)

We've got a standing group-date with several friends tonight... Beer, burgers, coney dogs, wings... All the good stuff.

I don't have any snapper recipes.  I don't do fish as often as I should, although I can do a mean blackened fish.  It's easy (which is why I do it!).  I've used all kinds of fish... Just slather it with butter, sprinkle on the Zatarains blackening seasoning, and cook it over very high heat.  Yummy!  I even forego any tartar sauce, and that's pretty unheard of for me with fish.

I guess I have a thing for dogs!  I swear, though, that I do nothing more graphic with them than cuddling.  Rosie is a bit of a kisser, though, and I have to be careful with exposed skin....

Plans for tonight?  Staying in and working on a draft of a research paper.  Rosie should be tuckered out after her trip to the dog park.

My Saturday night companion Malbec and I are back!  Tonight we are not grading but cooking up a storm for Greek Easter tomorrow.  Eggs dyed, spinach and rice casserole done, now poking through the cook book to see what I else I might make.  And watching my favorite widow movie, too, Silver Linings Playbook.  Bradley Cooper.  Mmmmmm.

Widda.

What is Malbec? Some type of alcohol I hope. Glad to hear that you, Toosoon are cooking and not grading. If I never see another paper to grade again...28 years of it...the thrill wore off.

And Maureen, dogs liking you is a very good sign. They are a great judge of character.

Wow! Looks like everyone's having a decent weekend! I am a dog lover too! We have 3 lovable beasts in our little pack. I was putting together these grow boxes in the garage tonight and filling them with dirt, etc... All three were out inspecting what I was up to. Gretchen, the youngest, dug her big head & nose into the dirt and got a nose full of potting soil, then it was scattered throughout! She better leave my plants alone!

I spent today cleaning out and organizing our medicine cabinet.  Threw out a LOT of old meds.  I was just settling down with a glass of wine and some chips, and saw the reminder on my phone of a meeting I have to go to in 45 minutes.  Grrrrr!  Oh well, it'll be a lot more enjoyable with a glass of wine in me.   ;D

Is it 5:00 yet??  I finally made myself get up and do something... Folded the 2 baskets of laundry that have been just sitting around for days, have another 2 loads in the washer and dryer, and sorted through the rest of the bathroom cabinets and tossed about 3/4 of a laundry basket full of stuff.

I'm ready for a break!!  Making some turkey and cheese roll-ups (anyone want one while I'm at it??) and then hitting the couch for a nap.  Unless it's 5:00, then I'll have a drink!   ;D

Hope everyone's having a good day!!

Sounds good to me! It's. 5o 'clock somewhere ! You're ahead of me with the laundry, can't get motivated... Allergies kicked in! How? There was snow on the ground yesterday! Either way, they found their way :(
I made this Mexican chicken casserole yesterday. Plenty left over. Bf asked me how I come up with the recipes I do online. I laughed a but then confessed, thought he'd think how dumb. Nope he thought it was absolutely brilliant. lol he finds things so amazing about me that I never even thought anything of. So I guess that's a positive for keeping the relationship going, just be your crazy widda self! I really have no sense of humor or cares to give anything else a try anyways .
So here's my laughable little trick. I look around what's on hand and just enter the ingredients in google! So yesterday, I had thawed out chicken and wasn't in the mood for anything I'd made in the past & really didn't want to cook. So I wanted easy!
Googled: chicken oven cornbread
I ended up with this Mexican chicken casserole. I gotta say it was so darn easy and deliscious. I couldn't imagine how it'd taste and it could definitely be done without the chicken, in my opinion.
So there's my trick, pot luck in the bistro with google & your pantry!

I will take a turkey and cheese roll up! I am eating %75 off Easter jelly beans.

Laundry going. Raking out the flower beds. We bought the house last August so all the spring flowers are such a welcome surprise. We bought a fire pit today and are going to have a fire in it tonight...lots of branches from the winter. The dog is 'taking a tan' and lolling on the lawn supervising. Beautiful day here in Maine!!

Ok. Back to the gardens. And I will have a cocktail beside the first fire later. You are all invited to join me!

Turkey/cheese roll-up coming up for you, TFO!

I've slacked off this afternoon.  Got a great nap in though.  It's beautiful here in Northern Michigan today too, but I just can't get motivated to do outside work yet.  I did get my toenails painted so I can wear some flip flops tonight, though!  That's very important.  Now to get the legs shaved so I can wear capris.  :o

Well I've recently discovered I like mojitos so if you could get me one of those I would apreciate it....and you know what would make it really fun is if you could use a glow stick as a stir stick.....had one of those in a bar in France once. I prefer pink, but yellow or green is fine.
