I am new on the forum and lost my husband just a month ago. Besides amazing friends and support, my biggest comfort comes from staying at the feet of Jesus. I have never ever felt His comfort as much as I do now. I know I have a long journey ahead and my emotions are all over the place, from panic and pain to peace and comfort.
I was able to feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit last week as I found a comfortable position on the couch and I felt the presence of God holding me as I worshipped Him. I did not want to leave that moment. He has been so close, leaning in as I call on Him. The next day after that experience, this song came across my praise and worship station. Psalm 147:3
