I’ve found myself here after 211/2 years with my dear husband, he took his life on 17 March. My world has collapsed. Family and friends have disappeared. We never had children, wonderful dogs but I am “all alone”. He was my soulmate, my best friend and forever love. 81/2 months after his death, I still cannot believe that he is gone. The life that was ours is gone, and I feel like I am gone. My sadness is overwhelming and the loneliness leaves me exhausted. The hole in my life feels like it keeps growing as the holidays arrive, as I feel and ache from missing him.
