Imagine a bowl of fruit. Rich and full of life. Suddenly, winter comes. Everything is frozen in time. A still life waiting... just waiting. Stood on a table gathering dust Something needs to happen. We need unpeel ourselves. The rich life that once was there needs to come again. That's the prize of a positive social encounter. Through being with people we can become whole. But the journey of not losing precious memories whilst having room to create new ones is difficult. Seems so unforgiving. And sometimes in light the darkness is hiding. Just ever waiting to catch us unawares. But even in the winter there is the sun. We are the authors of our own lives. We are the paintings upon which we can make our still life alive.
