Absolutely.  I take social media as whatever you post expect that the world can see it.  On facebook you can have private setting for friends only.  I have never assumed that it is that secure.

Even here on WIDDA our words will outlive us.  In that time they may be discovered by anyone who knows us now or in the future.

I'm not sure I will ever laugh about it. There is not much humour when someone posts things about you, without your knowledge or permision. Some very private, some disregarding past feelings. Granted, I'm sure he thought I would never see them....but....surprise!

I hear you.  DW kept a journal during a time she needed healing over problems we were having.  I could have done without finding that.

I can imagine how hard that was. Very painful to relive that again.

 

Just be grateful there were not hundreds/thousands of strangers reading it on social media.
