Ghost activity at midnight

******i know this sounds crazy********

Both Sunday night and last night, stuffs been happening at midnight in my house.  On Sunday night, I noticed footsteps in my bedroom.  It was not the cats as they were both asleep and my kids were also asleep.  These footsteps stopped after a few minutes.  Last night the ceiling fan light turned itself on, at midnight.  This particular switch is controlled by a remote control  on a shelf that a cat couldn't reach - I wanted to make sure that maybe one of my cats didn't just step on the button.  DH has been quiet for a long time and the only big things this week are my mom moving in (she's been moving little things to the house for about a month now), and my kids start school this week.  My older son is moving to a new building for middle school in seventh grade.  Do you think DH is trying to tell me something? He's been gone for 4.5 years so I can't figure out why all the activity.

I'd love to hear your opinions.

Well the fan/light turning on by itself could indeed be your own energy/frequency. No kidding. They have done studies in recent years with everyone having cell phones/wireless/that their is so much magnetic energy floating around cyberspace...that sometimes individuals can indeed mess with electronics unknowingly at different times. Not ghost related...it's energy being manipulated.  I would also check the circuit/fuse box etc.

Or it could be something else.

Footsteps....could be anything. Remember it doesn't necessarily have to be DH. We are just so assuming that it must be them.

I have had numerous experiences over the years. Rarely share them on here-doesn't seem to be a topic that's well received.  :(

I always ask "How did it make you feel?".....if it was peaceful..not threatening-it was good energy...a good spirit...guiding you.

PM me if you have any more questions.

I turn off street lights when I drive by them. No kidding. It's the weirdest thing. I've been known to have computers randomly shut down when I sit down in front of them too. My mom can't wear a watch for more than a few days without the battery dying-- she had to get one of those kinetic ones. Bizarre.

I like this response a lot, Sugarbell. I don't talk much about it-- I' m not sure what I think anymore-- but I lived in a haunted house for several years, and the incidences and phenomena we experienced were just too much to be random coincidences. We're pretty sure we identified our ghost-- our landlord's grandmother-- and we co-habitated quite peacefully, after establishing some rules. ;)

I know, I sound like a nutter. And I laugh at those ghost shows when I watch them. But I've had... things happen, and not just with Vivian (our ghost). I'm not prepared to dismiss them out of hand.

Hugs, Rooshy. I agree with Sugarbell-- as long as you don't feel threatened, it's all good. It could be your dh, or it could be another source of benign energy. If it were me, I'd just talk to them-- but I'm a little odd. I spent last night talking to newly fledged angel-kitties... :-\

No matter what it is , it seemed to give you a chance to think about your DH

so maybe that is a little bit of comfort in all the things that are going on

My Don was convinced they had "someone" doing strange things in the house he had rented when we first dated

lots of unexplained things would happen , and no animals to blame it on

Good luck with your mom moving in

I have a friend who also can't wear a regular watch

Just jen--- that sounds pretty cool about the street lights , I would have so much fun freaking people out with that one

It's your frequency...vibrational energy Jen. ...it's higher and can mess with electronics indeed.

I do it all the time too. I wear one of those magnetic bracelets to ground me and have a mat at work under my desk--I was crashing the computers too frequently. People at work just shake their heads...they have seen it in action.

Thank you all for your help!  Last night was very quiet and hopefully tonight will be the same. I didn't think that maybe our energy might have been the cause, but the light that DH turns on is the same one that he fretted over in life.  It's a ceiling fan with a remote control light that he was convinced was going to fall out from the ceiling.  Six years later I think that maybe DH knew that I've been worried about our younger son (he's autistic and non-verbal, what's his future) and I was pretty anxious over being a single parent. I've been at this single parent thing for 4.5 years and I still have moments where I don't think I can do it. Maybe he was trying to comfort me.  I spoke to him last night, trying to encourage to cross him over and if he wants to help, he should be with our older son at his new school.  Today was their first day of school and he was a bundle of nerves!

Mom's almost moved in with her things.  The two of them - DH and Mom - did not get along when he was alive, but she deserves a lot of credit for stepping up and helping me out after his passing.
