3 things I did today

1. Made poached egg on toast for breakfast

2. Helped prepare free lunches and distribute them

3. Logged in to Widda.org, changed my password, and posted

That's awesome, I know a few people who are doing happy hour virtually. 

 

1. Slept in

2. Played one of my favorite online games (started playing with my siblings, something that gives me a sense of community during quarantine) 

3. Went shopping to stock up for the next week, and got some decorations for a quarantine approved bachelorette party for my brother's fiance (I have a mix of greif and excitement when planning this)

I've been feeling really lonely the past few days, but I still try to make myself do something productive. Just in a funk. A year ago today we buried my parents cremains. Missing all of them just seems intensified since I'm at home quarantined.

1.  Did volunteer work on line.  Miss seeing folks, though.

2. Paid bills

3. Went for a walk though I was tired.  Glad I did. Got my steps up to 7000.  After a hard winter of illness, this is pretty good.

1. Did some spray painting. 

 

2. Went for a drive to buy more paint.

 

3. Ran into the last guy I dated. Danger, danger! It felt really good hugging him. I tried not to hug him back.

1.  Called to get repair person out again for air conditioning.

2. Called to see when my teen may get to take his driver's test.  Delayed to April 6.  Nothing since then.

3. No client's scheduled which is a downer.  So, clear out case load and text folks to see if they will return now and try telehealth since is is not just ending in April as originally planned.

Pandemic life - Meh.. But on it.

1. Took daughter shopping for tees for summer camp- it's good that WV doesn't care that NC is a hotbed of the 'rona right now so she can still go. 

 

2. Helped son get his packed dry bag into a large duffel as he leaves tomorrow for summer camp in FL. Again - good thing that border is still open! 

 

3. Going up to work on some Christmas cards soon!

1. I hugged my teenager this morning. She was having a bit of an exhausted nervous breakdown from modified school activities. All the rules and minding them are taxing just to be sure everyone remains safe!

2. Made my lunch so I can keep working. I usually get lazy and just snack until I get home.

3. I’m at work today. That is a feat in itself!

1. Took care of the 17 year old twins that both had wisdom teeth out yesterday. It's like having two infants all over again. God bless all of you who have little kids. I forgot how hard it is mentally! 

 

2. In between being  my kids' drug pusher I organized all the pictures from 2004 and 2005. I gathered all the digital pictures from everywhere, put them in one place, organized them by month, uploaded them to our home cloud and then backed them up to a cloud out in the wide world in case my house burns down. I'll at least have pictures of them when they were 1 and 2 years old. 🤣

 

3. Ummmmm.....  haven't really done a third thing today! I didn't even shower! However I do hope to entice said drugged-up twins to eat some ravioli tonight so that'll be my third thing -thinking positive. 😁

I’m on my own this weekend as my son is at his grandmothers. So today I

 

a) set up an outside projector and screen in my son’s new playhouse. 

 

b) finished weeding the backyard garden.

 

c) worked on finding help for my son’s at home schooling.

1. Got through Christmas ..Such an usual one this year with Zoom met ups and drive by present drop offs.

Made me feel like everyone in this 2020 could feel a bit of the sadness we all feel this time of year but still put a brave face to it 

2. Made plans to do a few more present/cookie exchanges today

3.Went for a walk in the woods with my dog and meet up with her doggie buddies ,always feels good to get out 

Hope everyone had a good Christmas or at least made it as good as it could be

I have a few days off before I have to go back to work. Christmas was brief in order to keep it safe so I was okay with it. New Year's will low key.
