Yesterday. National widows day, I became FB official in a relationship. So silly! I would love to spend every minute with this man. He says a ring is coming. 3/4 k that he ordered 2 months after I met him. He just knew. I'm glad he do because I really do want to spend my life with him.

So, why is it weird that I'm FB official? In laws didn't like it. Wtf? What do I do with that? They've been such a thorn in my side since he died. Walked out on my kids as if his spark didn't create them and IL hadn't been in their lives for 20+ years.

I won't give them this power.

Welcome to widowhood!

I agree with look2thesky. While I know how nice it would be to have the support of everyone, including the inlaws, the reality is that you are the one, who must live your life. They don't walk in your shoes, and they don't get to make decisions for you. If they choose to judge, you can choose to ignore. Easier said, than done, I know.
