TLD110166 Posted April 30, 2018 I found this among my late husband's papers, in the last box of his things I had to sort through. The Day You Were Called Home God looked around His garden, And He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth. He saw your tired face, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw that the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb. He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered, “Peace be thine”. It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn't go alone. For part of me went with you, The day God called you home. 1 Share this post Link to post
