Misericordia
Tomorrow, it would have been my 32nd wedding anniversary. My husband, Jim, died just before our 17th anniversary. Soon, I will have been his widow longer than his wife. I was was lucky enough to find love again and while we didn’t marry, we were committed, lived together, and blended our lives and families. In September, he will have been gone as long as we lived together. I am so grateful to have loved and been loved so well, but I feel like I was meant to grow old alone. Wheelerswife
Hugs to you, Donna. I was also married 17 years to my first husband. In June, we would have been married 27 years. I didn’t even get 4 years with my second husband. I can’t predict the future, but I hope I won’t grow old alone! I hope you have good memories on your anniversary.
