swimmer

I was active on YWBB.  I am now 13 years widowed.  My kids and I survived and thrived.  My older son is in the Navy and my younger is graduating from Berkeley.  Those were the hardest years of my life.  I can honestly say I have a good life.  I'm a teacher. I have good friends.  Live in a small beach town with beautiful weather.  I still swim 4-6 days a week, (my happy, sane place).    These days I laugh way more than I cry.  I think about Jon every day but am no longer paralyzed by grief.  Memories make me smile now.
