I do have children who tell me they love me everyday, as well as cats who are affectionate (and spoiled ). It was very strange, though, as the one cat who had been fairly aloof before my husband died, but has since been my constant companion was especially snuggly on Valentine's Day from the time he woke me up that morning and all day long.
