Just general sadness

I have often said I miss knowing there is someone in this world that has my back, unconditionally. 

 

I got a tattoo a week or so ago.  Excited about it, I phoned my best friend as I was leaving the studio and she asked me to stop by her office to show her.  I said I would be happy to...to be able to show it to someone.  She told me later that she nearly responded, out of habit "well you can show it to S when you get home".  It's all those little things...
