Captains wife Posted August 3, 2017 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Holidays, especially in the beginning, are so so hard. Over time, I have tried to change what I do on holidays (for example, I volunteer and deliver meals on Thanksgiving, my son and I go away somewhere fun for the 4th of July) and that has helped.
