Married my high school sweet heart in 1987.  GBM started August 2010 and she survived 3 years and 2 weeks.  We did get our 35 years in before she passed.   7 months after losing her I found her Dad taken down by a stroke.   I moved from my farm to his farm to care for him full time.  He had lost his wife and all 3 kids,  I'm all he had left.  He passed at 94 on Jan 7th 2018.  So after about 7 years of care taking I am trying to move on in my life.  Yup,  losing a spouse stinks but we are not guaranteed a long life together.   Somehow we must pick up the pieces with a special person and appreciate life together all the more.
