Guest nonesuch Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 Over the years I grew close to a man I did ballroom dancing with. Actually, we were FWB for a while. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had surgery. Five years go by. And in 2014 his PSA went up again. He researched the options, and asked the doctor what this would likely buy him for time. Meh, maybe another six years. So he had radiation treatment a year ago. And this fall his PSA has gone up again. I miss my old life. I miss dancing. I miss seeing my friend every week. I feel sad.
