ManutesGirl
Had one of those no good, horrible, rotten days at work. Driving home from work all I could think of is how much I miss having DH to call and decompress on the way home. It's just not something you call and gripe to a friend about. Over 4 years later and sometimes the missing him hits so hard.
lcoxwell
I am very sorry that you had such a bad day at work and that your husband is not there to talk to. I agree that "(s)ome nights, it hits hard". Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.
Guest k3songs
Yes, some days it hits very hard. It is still so unreal to me after all this time. I think this snowstorm has brought it all to the surface again. After almost 6 years I am still missing my husband, I always will, It gets harder with time for me. Sometimes I don't know how people can get through this. One day at a time, I have been living one day at a time since he died and it still hurts. ladybug
Yes, I understand what you are saying. This coming summer will be my 8th being a widow. Some days it feels like it just happened. I think in terms of, one day at a time, it seems to help. Just wanted you to know you are not alone.
