I had a moment that I wanted to turn the car around and drive to where these people were and see if it was my husband with a new car and a new woman! Why can't I just except he's gone??? Captains wife Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Sorry : ( I so get those feelings of feeling crazy. I am 5 years out now (and I promise, although hard to hear now, that things will get better over time) but when I was a few months out, a year out, I felt I was losing it sometimes. I would wander around the grocery store or TJ Maxx and just cry. I would see little reminders of my husband everywhere and they were real triggers.
