Still Standing

August 31 would have been 34 yrs.

Four years after loosing my dh my son passed away .At the viewing my sister says to me(IT MUST SUCK TO BE YOU)? At that moment I couldn't speak.Now almost four years later we don't talk to each other.

I remember that feeling,first year was a blur numb feeling.Second year was the worse.Third year got the urge to change things slowly.Forth year things started to fall in place getting use to this life not breaking down when something went wrong or broke I handled the problems.Then my son passed away unexpectedly and here I am almost four years after that loss and I'm trying to resume the changes of four years ago.Every one is different in their timing ,you go at your own pace knowing what's right for you.

So sorry for the loss of your friend.

Hugs to you CW.Break ups always hurt,but remember you've been through worse.Take time for yourself and regroup because you deserve better.

The first year usually is a blur,you feel your in a fog.The memories do come back at unexpected moments.It could be while your driving,a song comes on in the supermarket,a movie or those Hallmark commercials.As time goes by you'll remember more and more.

I'd say I was angry when loosing DH But loosing my son three years later I am MAD.I have so many questions that just cannot be answered to my satisfaction.I don't want to become a bitter old woman.

Also bummed out.Today marks seven years without my DH.
