Guest nonesuch
I have to confess that in five years, I have not buried late Husband. It's time. I have contacted the veterans' cemetery. He's registered and all that stuff. The man on the phone said Late Husband's name must be on the urn. The name plates I'm seeing advertised come with double-sided tape to affix them to the urn, which seems rather impermanent to me, but man on phone said nothing about riveting or anything. Does anyone know about this? Man on phone just said "Go to a jeweler and get one." Current Beau aid a trophy shop will do it, too.
Max2507
I take it the urn is a metal of some sort. Seems like it could get soldered on or engraved right on the urn. Doubled sided tape seems weak but epoxy glue will hold something on forever if that's your only option is to affix it on there.
Carey
are you burying the urn or is it going in one of those above ground things I can never remember the name of? the veterans cemetery didn't make me do anything , they just buried it (poor Chad had no urn, just a white cardboard box but the kids decorated it)
Guest look2thesky
JB weld, 4 minute epoxy. Available at Home Depot, and auto stores. It will hold permanently.
