Not this time but I could tell you about how my mother will not believe the many psychologists, teachers and school administrators who have reassured me up and down, time and again, that my daughter is not dyslexic and how, in what is evidently her quest to prove that she is, my mother has decided to get certified as a dyslexia reading tutor...... Or we could discuss how she doesn't think I should read The Diary of Anne Frank with her because "people die." Um, yeah, I think we've got a handle on that at this point. By and large though I have to admit, my parents have been stellar. They went to counseling and seem much more committed to the notion that they've got finite time with M and they seem to be enjoying it more and worrying less....death and dyslexia aside, of course.
