Wheelerswife
That was me this evening...stuck my foot in my mouth...completely missed the cues to put the filter on some thoughts. UGH! I'm sure it wasn't the first time I've done such a thing...and unfortunately, it won't be the last. I can be such a DGI myself. Sigh. Trying
We've all been there, but you at least realized it so not completely oblivious. Probably wasn't as bad as you think.
rifatheroffour
Based on what I know of you, Maureen, you have banked far more "get it" time than "DGI" time. This too shall pass.
DonnaP
As sensitive a person as I KNOW you to be, I'm certain that the "lapse" was minor. Plus, the fact that you picked up on it after means you are NOT oblivious, ... just a little slower to catch on. Hopefully, the person to whom the comment (probably joking??) was directed knew you did not mean to offend. HUGS my friend. (Wish they could be in person ...) Guest TooSoon
Hi sweetness, if you're referring to our conversation, no harm no foul. You're my sister always. I'm just under a lot of stress right now and am not at my most graceful - dying cat, impending boyfriend, unwelcome colleague re-returning to work, unpaid taxes, piles and piles of ungraded papers, an unfilled position I was charged with filling, and this house (oh this house!) - its all a big mess right now. We all have our "moments" and I was having a moment last night. Was just about to write to apologize and saw your post. If I've learned anything from this ludicrous journey it is that the small stuff matters little and the big stuff - like friendship - is the mainstay. The apologies are all mine to make! Love you!
