rifatheroffour
Why does my son choose now, 18 yo and graduating in a month and a half to act like and irresponsible in considerate ass and thinks he's not doing anything wrong...
Trying
That's pretty much mandatory behavior for an 18 year old boy. I feel your pain.
newnormal14
Yep, typical 18 year old behavior. For me, it got worse (for about 1.5 years) before it got better. Hugs
kpgct
Why? Because he's 18 and about to graduate in a month. My friend, as the mother of a 19 year old son, I feel your pain. Here's to hoping (for both of us), that it gets better....soon.
Kestrel
It's normal teenage leaving the nest behavior. By being a jerk, you will be happier to be rid of him, so it won't go so hard on you when he leaves. Similarly, by believing or saying that his parent is an overreacting, controlling xxxx, he too will be happier to leave. Otherwise, you both would be in tears when it's time for him to go.
