MissingSquish
Kamcho, did you leave an email address or a phone number in your note? He might not contact you regardless, but rather will bask in additional approval from someone in his past.
Joey
I think I forgot about all the bad memories with him. Perhaps "moving on" means more to us than getting over the loss of our spouses. Perhaps this is forgiveness... in action. Is saying something nice to someone ever a bad idea? "He's a horrible person", but you are not. Saying nice things to nice people is easy. Saying nice things to shitty people.... now that's special.
Baylee627
"He's a horrible person", but you are not. There is honor in being kind. It's not a weakness. You showed character by congratulating your old frenemy with a pure heart. Agree with Joey. I also feel MS is most likely on track that Lieutenant Limelight likely won't reciprocate contact.
