Engagement / wedding rings

So I've been tossing the idea around about having the rings remade into something else.  More so my engagement ring and I even have my moms ( she passed away ) I don't wear them anymore, I have boys and can't see me passing them on to them .

So has anyone done something ? What would you do ? New ring ? Necklace ?

I had my late mother's ring remade into my engagement ring originally.  Her diamond was gorgeous, the ring not so much my taste.  My mother had always said jewelry should be worn and not sitting in a box somewhere.  I intend to remake the ring again, I just haven't decided what I want yet.

I had my dads and moms wedding rings, my engagement and wedding ring and his wedding band made into a ring I wear on the middle finger of my left had.  I never take it off.....
