Love seeing old "faces" active tonight....feeling nostalgic

I am horrified to admit I have 4.....only 1 is truly used.....the others I won thru work back when things were different and lots of perks with the job that no longer exist.

Is this still happening? Need to know if July or August, as I work Saturdays in August would need to plan a vacation day.

I "remodeled" our bedroom at about 1.5 years.....really I just painted it, and moved my under garments from the spare room to "mine".....I got the "big" closet (house built in 1947) so big is relative ha ha....so anything drawer worthy while he was alive went to the other room. It was liberating and emotional all at the same time. ((((Hugs)))) as I know this is a big step.

If someone decides to go to chat, poke me!!! (I guess pm here) as it kicks me out every time I float back to the board....it's not being nice tonight....I will be around until 11-11:30 eastern time

If you were married over 10 years remarriage does not matter. My parents were divorced for over 30 years, AND remarried. They both scoped out the others SS when it came time to collect SS as they were guided to do by the SS office.

Who else would like to join in on the fun? Remember kids are welcome no sitters needed.

Call the benefits center for his pension. Ask every question, to EVERY scenario you can imagine...to include cohabitation, marriage etc. you both worked hard for the security you have today. Make a list of pros and cons.....financial, and legal, not emotional. Remember you can take legal action for medical end of life decisions without being married, as well as any financial ones. I just hate how all of that sounds, as at my core, I am really a romantic. I have a deep seeded fear of being a bag lady. That has been around long before I was married, or even met Big Guy for that matter. Have a commitment ceremony if it makes legal, and financial sense. I dunno, I'm a mess

I am always in awe of all of you who walk this road with children. As for the question, you probably in the throws of grief, or just after the liar stated you were done, and that was it, no more men. She believed you. Maybe she has someone in mind, and was feeling you out? I have no real advise, as while I am currently involved, lately I have been thinking that maybe I'm better off alone.
