I have a few pictures around...I will admit I got pissed at NG when he suggested they were holding me back. I have none in my bedroom, and all but 2 are mixed in with my wall of family going up the steps. Most of the pictures on the wall are of other family members, NOT us. I don't know maybe I'm being an ass.

Even before getting widowed, I often went out alone, and NEVER sat at a table. Always sit at the bar, even if you don't imbibe in adult beverages. Valuable lesson learned from years in the restaurant business. Everyone interacts at the bar. You won't feel like the person sitting by yourself with the strobe light blasting on them!! OMG yes!!! Emotional before, and physically and emotional during! Yay me!! Ha ha. I have lost track of my cycle since my hysterectomy this January. (This is truly a woo hoo!!!! : :) ) however, reading this, I have been pms-ing the past few days. I've been a total bitch, a few not so shining moments that have included a few private weepy poor me. ..It's just over 4 years for me. However, in the beginning, it was more down in a hole grief. Dropping my keys at me feet, easily picked up mind you, would have me in tears. Yes a year off should be mandatory!!! (Hugs)

A few years behind you, but I get it!! My boss didn't listen to me scheduled a performance meeting ON the actual day!! Although bottom line he was cool, it wasn't at the moment!! End of day he asked me how it was, told him first full day ON, THE day...so it was ok as it was the first!! I was proud, even though I flailed thru the meeting. That night I cried too!! However was so proud if my "first" day!! If that makes sense!!!

Going lmsmdm Maybe Singinmomo4 TooSoon Jenn, that soooo sucks!!!!! Maybe I can hit you up in NYC, but the marathon makes me nervous! Ha ha Portside...if memory serves me correctly, and I could be completely wrong, but aren't you in Bucks county??? This is for a very good cause, and the proceeds are going to two families in the area who were both recently devastated by loss. Tickets need to be purchased in advance no later than 10/05/2015. I am happy to purchase them since most people are out of town, so for this bago advance notice is needed.

It can be scary, I personally had it in my profile. I did have several who were obvious scammers. Easily blocked. I know you are uncomfortable about this, so I really like the others suggestions about a late husband antidote. Big hugs to you, as I know the step you are taking is extremely unnerving. I hope you are able to relax enough that you have a blast, even if he's not the one. I still chat with a couple of my dates on occasion as they are great guys, just not right for me romantically. Went to a Def Leppard show tonight (fucking awesome by the way!!!).....a woman approached me in between acts said she knew me. I spent years in the restaurant business, and asked her where she worked as she looked familiar too. She was an an angel sent to me twice!!!! She was the cardiac ER nurse on duty the night Michael died. She apologized for saying anything when the connection was made. I hugged tight and thanked her for her and the rest of the staff who tried to save him. That although I was extremely bitter and angry at the time, the reality was I was thankful his death was quick. Big Guy had extensive liver damage due to hep c, and he had a long slow painful death ahead. Strange how meeting a woman who I crossed paths with for maybe 2minutes on the most horrible night of my life, could bring such peace 4 years later.
