You can choice to unfollow her, and nothing she posts will go through to your page . I have done that with people , and then when I was ready unfriended them . They will have no clue you unfollowed them, and if you want to see her posts just click on her page. Tough choice.. Best of luck

I expect guys to ask and take some interest in my kids , relative to how long I've dated the person. Guys that don't ask or show any interest , I wouldn't be happy with .

It's starting . The invites to holiday parties.. Around here it's all couples and then me. Oo joy . Not dating anyone that I would bring . So either I make some lame excuse or go and feel like a fish out of water . Happy happy

That's hard to say , some people email, then talk on phone , then decide to meet for coffee. Personally, I can only read someone face to face . So I usually meet guy quick, public place , coffee and see what happens . Tell someone where you are going , public place, take your own car and enjoy. And as far as yes to both , why not .. It's just coffee and right now your just meeting people .

Wtf.. 3 years .. I look at pictures of the kids from then and now, he wouldn't recognize them. All that has changed , fixed, broken , purchased and yet the constant is he's not here . I've dated , was with someone for a year .. I can move on in a sense .. The kids ? Never will have another father, one that loved them , cherished them , was there for them . Wtf .. I can recall every part of that day three years ago , leading up to when the police were waiting for me when I got home from work.

I have no words, my heart breaks reading your words . I have no advice, just sending you a virtual hug. Good idea to accept counseling for you . What about groups for parents dealing with kids with addiction ? I think the hardest part is knowing how much you can help him and how much he has to want the change for it to help.

Sunshine, I agree my kids should move on. I have tried sparing them the he is an ass speech, this was first guy I dated they met. I think I felt, I didn't want to hurt them .. If they relate to him , male figure and all. However.. I'm not encouraging the relationship for them and him, and hoping it will fade away. Thanks for all your advice!

Not only did I have a light bulb moment when I realize online people do this all the time. Before really even talking or meeting,they move on .. So then .. I realized a month after breaking up with boy friend of a year.. He does this in life .. Keeps girls on back burner, or meets new one and fazes out one he's with. Found out he's dating 2 women, Both of which he admitted he has been chatting with for a few months. Instead of working on us, enjoying us, seeing where we were going.. He's constantly looking and moving on. Boy that hurts . Add in he's lying about how and why we broke up, of course to make him look better. Had a long talk with his ex last night ( she was helpful in shedding light on him and is why I broke up with him ) and everything she said .. I'm right. Who does that in their 40's ? . Is it normal ? Am I jaded from marriage and wanting to find a partner to see people play these game s?

Thought of this today .. Two things 1. Kids were asleep, I was doing a puzzle , it was late and I said darn I could really go for diner fries ( it's a jersey thing lol) . He got up and went and got me some . 2. I had been sick ,and not eating .. The only thing I could even think of trying was McDonald's yogurt parfait. He went to a few McDonald's and got me 10. (They were small and cheap) so I would be able to eat something. Geez I miss him .

Ok , heard from him today . Very excited. Said I was beautiful, a great kisser ( ok so that made me giggle , doesn't everyone know how to ?) and he told his best friend I was pretty amazing . So yay !

first guy dated after hubby.. We immediately went into texting and seeing each a lot. Never really "dated". Guy that I dated for a year , we chatted , went out then just fell into dating , I guess .. This guy last night .. Has been a really dating process .. Met online, emailed, then phone, then asked me out , followed up with can't wait till Sunday ( day in between call and date ) last night asked if he can call me today . I realized I usually go from zero to 160 in a relationship.. Maybe the fall out of being married and widowed , just used to constant company etc. so interested to see how this goes. Strangely I'm calm about it . ...

We did Virgo, well nothing concrete , but asked when I can go out again . Talked about what we will do next time ( dinner ) . Said a few times all night , about going out again. :-)

Yes! Home from a really great date. So much to talk about with him ,he's cute, kind. After our meeting ( drink and apply) we took a walk by the water . Still smiling !

So about 2 weeks ago, this guy messaged me . Turns out we knew each other from kids school. Chatted a bit, then nothing. Put new pictures up, and he messaged me again.. Saying how amazing I looked (blah blah) . He asked me to meet him Friday, I couldn't get there and texted him, he called Friday nite. We had a nice conversation, and made plans for today around 5-6. Sent me text yesterday, saying how fun it was to talk with me and looking forward to Sunday. Anyway... It's 1 here, and he hasn't texted . And I'm not texting him. (New approach) . So we shall see.. Meanwhile I'm off to a bbq and I'll see if he calls .

Don't laugh, I want to start responding to ads that list electrician, plumber and say .. Hey I don't really think your attractive but I could use work done. Ha ha

Ok, I'll go .. The hurt is worse, different then losing a spouse. I broke up with boyfriend . I'm hurt, sad, felt used and taken advantage of . I won't put all the blame on him, I wanted the fairy tale.. It was clear that it wasn't going to happen. I'm not afraid.. Because I want to have a love again :-)

Ok , went back on two free sites and trying hard to find discounts to rejoin match. Let me tell you how many married , or dating men on okcupid... And they put it right out there , in the profile, email me and that's the first thing they say . Crazy ! Last year I had used free sites, and nothing like this .. What a difference a year makes . Ooo I can I also tell you about the 22 year old , that messaged and all it said was how did your husband die ? ... Omg go away

So I called .. Blocked my number first ..... he said was in food store can I call him back in an hour . Called him a little over an hour later no answer. So left message , with house phone number .. Calls me right back , chatted for about 5 minutes and he says .. Something is boiling over on stove , can I call you right back and never did. Wtf ? Whatever !
