Mac
I've always been a bit of a "free thinker," but have still followed many of the "rules of life." Throw that all (or at least a lot of it) out the window now.

Mac
Nothing in particular. Just a statement of how much this loss has changed my life and has impacted my thinking.

Virgo
Nothing in particular. Uh huh. A loss like ours does change your perspective on life 'rules.'
Trying
I have always been a rule follower, a planner, Miss Practical. I will be at 2 years in September and I am starting to embrace the spontaneous and the unexpected. Taking risks and going outside my comfort zone is the new way. Needytoo
I love that you have posted this Mac because I have been looking for the new Rule book because the old one just not cutting it anymore.
linda5
I'm sick of the rules. It's funny that the people that know the rules and are giving advice to me, are the people that still have their spouse.
jlp
Amen, sistah! Or in my case sometimes, people who have never been married!
66etype
I've always been "it's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission" kind of girl... thank goodness that didn't change!
Guest Mel4072
Ah. I see. I could never find the rule book so I made it up as I went along.
Guest TooSoon
Breaking the rules this week! Skipping mandatory (hellish) annual faculty retreat and first day of classes to go to England to meet A's family and go to a music festival. Feeling like a major rebel! Miss the retreat? Miss the first day of school? In my former life, not. a. chance.
