He was a man who liked to be in control, he orchestrated the tone of his illness, did not allow people to be uncomfortable around him. Evaluate he invited (insisted) everyone come over and see him. We had several "parties" where he could tell people he loved them and we could all share funny stories with each other and with him. It was an Irish wake with the departed not quite yet departed. So yesterday I started getting texts and phone calls from friends, Tim's old email address sent out some massive spam yesterday. I think he was worried people would forget and no one would call me. Instead I'm getting lots of phone calls from some really freaked out people. I told one friend, at least he didn't throw a brick at your head!
