All of the men I've dated so far I either graduated high school with, was set up by a friend, or they knew (or knew of) my LH. My LH was a LEO. I'm actually talking to a fireman, dispatcher, and someone I graduated high school with right now. I've been debating going out with them or taking a break from dating lol. I won't say I wouldn't try online dating, but I prefer not to. At least for now.

I've avoided this topic because I have not checked out online dating sites, but I was curious about your dating experiences. It's interesting how some of these topics have come up with other friends who are dating. Going ghost, feeling like high school, immaturity, booty calls, on and on. All of the guys I have dated have also mentioned that they know how to cook, are not slobs, and have great relationships with their mothers. Is that in a 'what women want' dating handbook? Not that those aren't great qualities, but for all of them to mention them on the first date is amusing to me. Dating makes me appreciate what my husband and I had even more. All of the guys I've gone out with are good guys, so no horror stories. Just not for me. They all still contact me.

Stop being his audience Jen and see what happens. My confession ... two possible dates tonight, but both flaked. I think I'm ready for a break. Lol Why do they even bother texting or calling me? So frustrating!

It's been 2 years and 1 month since my husband died and I still detest going to the grocery store alone. I put it off as long as possible. I am going to force myself to go today.

It was almost 18 months before I had any type of intimate contact and that wasn't intercourse. I think now that I've had sex the urge is even more intense than it was during those 18 months. I miss the consistency and availability not being in a committed relationship. Thursday was the last time I had sex and it felt amazing.

My girls are staying with their grandparents tonight. Normally when they stay over I have definite plans. I'm not sure what I'm doing tonight.

I was with my guy friend last night, and got home around 10am. Great evening! The rest of the day was spent at home with my daughters. My teenagers and I are going shopping tomorrow after church. My 8yo has a play date.

Last night I told my teenagers I was going to the gym, but I actually went to my new guy's house to 'work out' with him. Dating with children makes things interesting lol.

I took two of my daughters to see a local band play. My friend is in the band. My oldest daughter invited two of her friends. So, me and four teenagers.

1. Got my hair trimmed. 2. Baked cupcakes with my aspiring pastry chef. Not good for my weight loss efforts, but worth it to see my 8yo 's sweet smile. She said I will be her partner on Cupcake Wars. Lol 3. Online shopping with my 16yo and 14yo.

It's the season premiere of the Walking Dead. I'll be impatiently waiting in front of the TV. Ha! My new guy is spending the weekend with his kids in Myrtle Beach. We just started dating in January, so I'm somewhat relieved we're not going to be together for Valentines day. Phil and I never celebrated Valentines day after we married. We felt it was for dating couples. Once we had a wedding anniversary to celebrate it had no meaning for us. We doted on our daughters on Valentines day instead.
