Maybe it's time BF went back to court to get his daughter out of the nut house. Obviously her parents are not any help. Why should she have to suffer the craziness of her mother. Doesn't sound very fair to me.

Good plan! I used to say to DH "I don't do crazy well" and he knew it. I did the same, said nothing. As the kids get older there will be even less reason for her to contact your NG so there is that to look forward to as well. Good luck SB!!

Not silly at all CarlyM. He was a man that you loved for all of your life. You know only too well the finally and pain that death brings. I think when we lose our loved ones some of the old hard pain as widows may surface as well. As you stated "to leave me with that lump in my throat. Oh MR thats a tough one. I love resorts for the food rest and relaxation but there are also alot of cities I love to go to. So I guess it would depend on the vacation. I'm going to have to choose resorts! lol laptop or Ipad?

Good thread A. No NG here but at almost 4yrs I have tried pottery and I really enjoyed it. I have waned from it for now. I need to feel inspired and it's just not happening right now. I have recently taken up quilting and I am really enjoying it. I joined Victoria's Quilts and we make quilts for cancer patients. I am really enjoying doing this right now and get a good feeling hoping that one of my quilts may bring a bit of comfort to someone suffering with that horrid disease. Lost my DH to cancer and I know he would have loved to have one of these quilts if we had known about this group.

I'm so sorry you had to join our group FEH. Yes it is so very hard to go on without the one we love so much. You too will make it through like we have and with a broken heart. One day hour or minute at a time keep taking those baby steps. Your wonderful little son needs you to and over time you will find that yes you can do this. Be kind and gentle with yourself during this horribly difficult time, you will make it like we all have. Big gentle hugs to you.
